Good summary of the problems with this ability. I think the intent with the 50/100 wording is imagine it’s a battery… once it at least 50 units of energy you can discharge it for an effect. But if you put more into the battery it can make the effect more powerful. Thus if you max out the charge before triggering it you get the greatest impact from it. And, as a bonus, the battery is still halfway charged and could be used again. But you can fully recharge it first and get the maximum effect.
Which leads me to a possible solution for the pixel pull problem. I don’t know about Fury barbs but it is possible with other builds like WW to use the Bul Kathos passive and CDR to have near 100% uptime on WotB. If that’s the case then the play style would be…
Start GR and trigger WotB without effect.
Charge “battery” as much as possible before you have to WotB again
If the battery is over 50 you get the effect.
Keep charging and releasing and hopefully build those stacks to 100 for each release.
But that would mean the effect would be worth the extra clunkiness of having to watch an extra counter.
